Got the new away shirt for christmas, very nice indeed. Wore it for the first time the other day the washed it, as you do. Took the shirt out of the wash to find that all the sponsorship logos had cracked and split, not impressed. So am off the the shop for a return tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone else has had the problem?

Yeah, exactly the same problem. It's happened to the ones on the front, back and shoulders. The shirt will look crap after a few more washes! ...Not impressed really.

See you in the store tomorrow returning it then.

Is there any point in an exchange? Its only going to happen again. Ive already changed mine once as it wasn't the right size (gift). Heres hoping it doesnt happen to mine. Whats the chances of them swapping it for one of the paul wood ones?

Has happened to all 3 away shirts in our family...will look awful by wash no. 3/4

was going to post this point a few days ago. Put 2 away shirts in wash for 1st time, mine and my boys. As instructed, inside out, 30 degrees. No other items in wash. Sponsors logo cracked on both and both 'white' areas inside collars and where buttons are on both shirts now pink. Spoke to club, they say the shirts have to be sent away to manufacturer. They also will not have most sizes (especially kids) in stock until late january.

I had a problem with the 07 or 08 shirt that was of the same style regarding the neck. The blue ran in to the primrose on the v at the front. Got interviewed for about 20 mins on how the shirt was washed and what type of powder / fabric conditioner was used etc. I spoke to trading standards who advised me to return the shirt along with a covering letter giving the club 14 days to resolve the matter or give me a full refund. (There are example letters on Trading Standards website). I did this and received a telephone call the following morning from the club requesting to change the shirt.

Not got this years shirt but what temp did you all wash them on? I know last years was a 30 degree wash not the usual 40 degree.

Well this has just made my mind up that I won't be buying one this year. For the price they charge problems like this shouldn't occur.

I always say to put rugby shirts through hand washing, much safer than the washing machine.

Looking at my away shirt that was washed yesterday and the sponsors logos are fine and no colour run.

i can see a small crack starting to occur on the back logo on mine and i have only worn it once. will give it a wash and see how we go

Took mine back this afternoon, money back no problems. The girl behind the counter said they have had a few people in with the same problem. I really do like the away shirt and they have the players jersey in the shop for £70, is that to much for a rugby shirt. Heart says no, head says yes.

Any problems with home shirts?

Shirts with print on them should always be handwashed at least the first few times, if not indefinately.

Ballcocks. All the print on my 2007 shirt still looks pristine and it has always been machine-washed.

Washed mine today (ready for tomorrow) and had no such problems.

Just noticed that a few of the letters have come off as well on the back of the collar where it says warringtonwolves.com

what does it say now?

Here's a little tip for anyone who's bought this years shirts.....

dip them in a bucket of bleach take out when perfectly white ...get a tin of Dulux one coat gloss in Yellow and paint a big V on the front......

job done....and better than when you bought em.....

wash at 40oC or under and no probs.
is it the manufactures or clubs fault that you have not read the wash guide where your name is written!!

mine is all cracked after one wash too. washed as per instructions.
