All they need to do now is to start enforcing the stadium vaping rules and reduce the brightness of the touchline advertising screens which plays havoc for us old codgers with eyeballs full of floaters.
[quote="Alffi_7":12clliaf]Been a while since the last sell out, think any improvement in match day is to be welcomed.
Was covered in another post recently, but I was surprised we saw such a decline in attendances in 2024, given the team performances - around 800 per game less than 2023[/quote:12clliaf]
We had a sell out v Wigan in powells second season. Then again, we had won our opening 7 fixtures. The game was a top of the table clash(which Wigan won obviously!)and had a lot of hype around it. Games need to be billed as big events to get punters in, not what they're going to see during the half time break.

Not just the vaping rules but the smoking rules as well. You are right about the touchline screens, at one point last season there was an advert with a lot of flashes, which was very distracting.
Regarding the new big screen hopefully it will remain in sync with the action, was weird when you'd glance at the screen and it was seconds behind the action.
