Johnstone is a shame, but I'm actually pretty happy with the Tom Burgess news.

He's obviously a great player, but Huddersfield are taking a huge risk, especially as they have to wait a year to get him.

I'm pleased that we, for once, have swallowed our pride and taken the sensible option.

Nothing saying why but he is now a free agent.

I'm making no claims of being in the know, just passing on what the Wire fans at work were speculating about. Joe Batchelor also rumoured to be on the outer, Hull KR fans mentioning him as possibly going there. Typically with Saints at the moment, we're linked with absolutely no one and we have about 17 first team players off contract and able to sign elsewhere.

Which is understandable, but I think most also have us well outside of contention for the trophies. There's only a handful who are delusional and claiming glory is on the way.
