Couldn't see it mentioned (not specifically anyway) on the recruitment thread, but Burgess made a move for Olam. Seems Olam wants to fight for his place in the NRL though. I guess Tai was the backup plan, unless we are still trying to snare a top centre alongside Tai.

Maybe this was the big target Abe Froman was hinting at?

According to Serious About RL, we've signed Wesley Bruines from Saints as a centre, but not heard anything official (Burgess invllvemdnt when Bruines went over to Oz).
I cant see us getting - or needing - ANOTHER centre if that's the case.

I forgot about the sticky at the top on Recruitment rumours, should have posted there.

I'd assumed Bruines would be a longer term work in progress rather than a first team centre?
