Saying “we’re going to do better” and actually doing something about it are completely different.

And keeping saying it without action becomes ridiculous.

Think of a Warrington team that you could realistically expect to be Grand Final winners, and ask yourself would Sita be in it?

How many of these would be in it: Mamo, Brand, Widdop, Patton, Latu, Jason Clark?

Mamo at a push would be the only one out of those.

Mentality change from the very top to the very bottom. I don’t get why anybody wouldn’t want that improvement.

Widdop at his best walks in to the side in that scenario.

It smacks of those “talent” shows where the judges tell a tone deaf kid that “if you want something enough you can achieve it”.
The current problem isn’t “ mentality” whatever that might mean, it’s coaching.
