Not really. The lower league RL clubs have been on Furlough throughout and have had their full allocation of funding. SL clubs have had to pay players with no money coming in from fans or sponsors (fortunately the donated season tickets seems to have hone down quite well).

Remember this money is not free, it’s a loan, albeit on quite favourable terms. I guess if Warrington can get away with not having it they will, although the period of Nov - Mar with lower season ticket money and no fans coming in will be tough on cash flow.

The lower leagues may well need to access it to get them through the first month or so of next year when they are playing with no fans coming in.

Rugby League is losing 2m a week because of Civid? Maybe 2 million a month and with strategic vision we have at the top of the sport I am not surprised they have all sat on their harris's over the years in the comfort of a Sky contract.
