I have, for most of this Season been appalled at the level of officiating at most SL Matches, and unfortunately, feel that at yesterdays Showpiece, we were again treated to p..s poor officiating, both on the field and upstairs.
In my opinion, Hicks should never be allowed on a field again. I have long held the belief he is 'way above' his capabilities, but thats me.
Had 'that decision' been against us, we would naturally be in uproar.
Thalers decision on the Lineham try was imo, simply 'levelling it up', and even the TV pundits were amazed....says it all.
What possessed Hicks to make that decision is beyond comprehension, and whilst I dont think it ultimately affected the game, but you cant help but think it had 'some' influence.
On such decisions can games hang, and possibly careers.

Will the RFL do anything about it........NO, but when you compare the level of officiating we have, versus the NRL, its night & day, and imho, not helping the game.
Not ONE of our officials could make it in the NRL, and that speaks huge volumes. I fully appreciate the officials are at the end of the day human, but when you have all the tools at your disposal to use..........

As I said, had that happened AGAINST us, we would be quite rightly, calling for heads to roll.

Interested what others think, but OMG, WHAT a performance from EVERYONE yesterday, one of the BEST TEAM perfomances Ive seen from the boys, in many a year.

There's another thread been started on redvee about future finals refs and getting better training from nrl refs, its funny, however one poster on there has pointed something out that i thought i noticed on saturday.

After big ben scored, we got a 7 tackle set from the restart, we made about 65 metres up field from the start.

There are some VERY funny threads on there...... very entertaining.

Perhaps the time is right to start trying 2 refs ,one for the defenders & one for the attackers. An ideal time would be in the playoffs when there won't be as many games to need officials. Maybe even have have an in goal judge at all games irrespective of tv cameras.

It also infers big time, that you thought Chris Hicks was biased towards Warrington, and that is how we won the challenge cup. It also encourages other s to made unjustified threats - like the alleged women wanting to harm your (imaginary) dogs. You may want to laugh it off as a joke, but I don't think you're in the slightest bit funny.
