Quote ="mark_m"Stanway had the best game since I have been watching the team on a weekly basis. However the key to the improvements has been the collective effort far more than any individual performances. One thing the video doesn't show is how much defence was done in the second half against Leeds, they had to soak up numerous repeat sets.
The defence on the right edge is a current issue as is the defending of kicks but I am sure the coaching staff are aware and will endeavour to improve this over the coming weeks.
They are certainly more exciting to watch than the first team at the minute!'"
Well the U19 game is a bit deceptive because of the time and space the creative players are given to work their magic, but yes, we do have some really good players coming through and they seem to be playing with confidence and an attacking flair that the first team have not really displayed since the loss of Briers. The match against Saints next week ought to be a cracker, particularly as King and Wilde will have a game under their belts after their long injury breaks.
