E-cigarettes may be safer that a tobacco one (much in the same way that getting hit by a car travelling at 30mph is safer than being hit by one travelling at 50mph), but nicotine is still something that I wouldn't want my children to be exposed to. This article make it very clear it's a potent chemical with obvious negative effects on a person's health

We also show that nicotine accelerates the growth of tumor and atheroma in association with increased neovascularization. In a mouse model of hind-limb ischemia, nicotine increased capillary and collateral growth, and enhanced tissue perfusion. In mouse models of lung cancer and atherosclerosis, we found that nicotine enhanced lesion growth in association with an increase in lesion vascularity. These effects of nicotine were mediated through nicotinic acetylcholine receptors at nicotine concentrations that are pathophysiologically relevant. From a family orientated club selling a family game as entertainment, taking money from a company that sells a product with potentially serious negative effects on health is in my opinion a poorly thought out move. Allowing a stand to be named after the company stinks to high heaven.
I witnessed a steward informing a fan that he couldn`t use the E Cig that he was inhaling on the South Stand terrace yesterday.
Apparently there are designated areas for those who wish to use E Cigs.........Hence this is good news for all those who stated that they didn`t want to stand/sit adjacent to some one vaping.
