They all have their little nuances but for me Bentham is the worst.
Bentham allows more time than any other ref in the ruck.

Thaler has slowly become the best ref in the league, frustrating when you watch live at the ground because you think he's giving random penalties for no reason, on tv you realise he doesn't miss much and what you thought was an injustice at the time on the replay is the correct decision.

I hope the RFL aren't desperate for a Wigan v saints final as part 1 of their plan was disgusting to watch tonight. We stand no chance if we have Bentham to contend with as well, I am fearing the worst.

Didn't we start the Grand Final last year with Westwood punching Blake Green in the face while he was on the ground, and escaping unpunished by the officials.

If the officials are going to exert a big influence on the game, that introduces some randomness in which counts against the favourites. As Wigan beat us home and away this year, finished above us in the league, and are at home, its fair to say they have more to fear from incompetent officials than we do.

But of course maybe in the tinfoil hat world we all know that Bentham is being paid by the RFL to ensure a Saints v Wigan final.

It's very much an "if" Sally, Wigan do have just as much to fear but given the standard of officiating it is very much a real fear for both sides.
