Last night I watched Rabbitohs v NQ Cowboys on Premier Sports freeview , and I would estimate that Ashton Sims made more carries and more metres in this game than our current Number 10 , in fact the only similarity was the shirt number, Hope he keeps this up next year.

Evans is an intelligent player with a low mistake rate. A coach's dream.

I hope he gets back playing sooner, rather than later.

People don't realise that we was injured from May to Christmas, without a full time environment to recover in.

Ben Evans plays with the maturity of a 30 year old prop, not a 21 year old. He's an outstanding talent. Similar build to Danny Nutley with great go-forward. Will do a great job for us and probably go to NRL in 3-4 years.

I remembered him but at the moment he's behind all of those I mentioned in my opinion.
He's big enough but doesn't punch at his weight and my impression is that he makes too many mistakes.

He's young so hopefully he'll develop further next year but wouldn't want him in the 17 on a regular basis as things stand.

Ben Evans will be like James Graham. He has the ball in hand skills to be a pivot. Graham in the NRL quite often plays as first pivot and it confuses the hell out of the defence as they cant decide how to defend against him, charge him and he slips a great ball out, stand off him and he charges like a prop. Hope he does devlop like this as he will be a great player for years to come.
