The way we're playing at the moment is reminiscent of some of the Wilderspool era. the players seem to be taking this Heritage month seriously...
Gutted I can't be there on 15th for the final game. I did go to one of the U19 games last season. I took my 3 yr old who was a but restless sat up in the main stand, so we went down and ended up wandering along the paddock terrace towards the scoreboard before getting called back by a steward...
However I notice on the heritage website that there is 'Farewell Wilderspool Event, details tbc' . anyone know anything more at this stage? Hopefully this will be a chance to get on the pitch, snaffle some turf, and unscrew a faded yellow seat, grab a crash barrier etc...

So many fond memories of the place, being a ballboy there from 1990-1993 holding many. If you go on you tube and search classic warrington tries, there's a gary mercer chip and collect try against Cas I think ,where I jump up and down on him after like an utter bell.

wow whens that happening ....? 2099 hopefully ...
I dont want to be around when there is only one bridge crossing at bridge foot... 
the original old bridge crossing looks to be pedestrianised in that picture.
if everyone's got hoverboards it wont be a problem I suppose.

I'd assume it remains one way with the way back into town going over the bridge off Bevan Island so that they can develop the waterfront as part of the town centre.
