I know Boots n All is mostly about trying to keep Sam Tomkins happy these days but if you get chance, watch the bit on the State of Mind round. Talks about some of the mental health issues players have during and after their careers. Paul Wood is interviewed and there is a brief, but difficult, interview with Danny Sculthorpe. Seems he struggled to come to terms with the end of his career in several ways, lost his house, and he became depressed. He couldn't even start talking about it last night without breaking down.

Mental health problems are something we're all susceptible to and it's great to see RL try to do something to support its players coming to terms with these issues.

I rarely watch Boots n All, but happened to catch the discussion with Shaun McRae and Cull. Very good coverage of a topic people don't like to talk about. McRae, for obvious reasons, was compelling.

I felt like there wasn't that much done at the game to promote it other than having Wolfie wearing a SOM tshirt. Quite disappointing. Great cause and hopefully more was made of it on the TV coverage.

I also thought there wasn't much coverage at the ground. Somebody handing out flyers at the turnstile and Wolfie/the players all in tees. At one point I thought they were bringing out a giant SoM flag to display on the pitch before kick off but it was a bloomin' car advert! What was that about??
