The weather report on the BBC for the week is below freezing most days and the covers cant go on the pitch as they won't protect it and will damage the new grass when its taken off. It's unfortunately not likely to go ahead unless the weather greatly improves.

They are not bothered about the snow on the pitch as the lines have been painted blue. The only issue will be inside the ground in fan areas and outside. I think the m62 being like glass might be more of a problem for the Pie fans though

Pitch is fine. The only issue will be the snow around the ground and (if applicable) on the terraces etc. M6 was actually shut at Wigan last night due to the snow, but now all flowing. I suppose it could possible come down to that "call to arms" mentioned earlier.

I think the game will be on. Snow isn't a problem for the playing surface its a frozen pitch that's dangerous. With us sharing the same walkways etc as Tesco's then they will have ensured that access is clear for their customers all week.

I would say its 80 / 20 the game is on.
