Despite being quite errrrrr abrasive as a player, Cull has always been an articulate, eloquent, knowledgeable reader of the game as well as a likeable, genuine guy, so is ideally suited to media work.
Think he probably knows TV work is where his future lies himself and I'm sure we wouldn't want the club to find him a job for old times sake. Nor does he need it to - the club has moved on and so as he and I'm sure he'll have a long career in the media.
Plus we may see even more of him on Sky to bring some p&b coloured sanity to Clarke, Stephenson & Hemmings claptrap.
Disgracefully treated by many of our fans (and I wasn't even aware of the "sit in" until I read about it on here a couple of years later - what game was it at?) I remember "We want Cullen out" chants at Wigan away and being disgusted by them despite agreeing with sentiment as by that point I had believed for two years he wasn't the man to take us forward.
He deserves respect as a genuine Warringtonian though, as his years of on field service proved, and deserved better treatment than he got. I hope he enjoys tomorrow as much as every single one of us does because he is one of us.
No need for a role at the club out of sentiment though. He's had his time and moved on in a professional capacity.
