Played on the same team as him at junior level, Longshaw street rangers. He was off a stick back then too. Really nice lad and I am happy he went on to do such great things.
Slightly mis-leading thread title. Whilst Riles can claim to be on a par with John, I'd hardly say he was 'up there' with Brian (even on this particular stat), given he's took twice as long as the Great Bev to the ton!!
