I believe the reason was falling birth rates and thus, the school was under subscribed, if memory serves. Most of the prospective students will be going to Lysander I think.

No, I happened to walk right through it, didn't dare get my phone out in case the scallywags stole it. I have never felt as old or out of place ever. I thought at the time it must have been last day of school drinks, but then some lad came past missing the skin off his knuckles and another with blood all over his shirt and they all stampeded off as another big fight started. Funny thing was they were all really polite to the people walking their dogs etc.
