Quote ="SEB"Agreed, well said.
No it isn't and no we are not.
It's been the same for all the time I've been going, which is getting on for 30 years! Some games you get a great atmosphere because of the occasion, sometimes because of the quality of the game, sometimes it just happens for no apparent reason. Other games the atmosphere is very flat. It's always been like this, whatever the year, whatever the stadium.
Why are some so obsessed with what songs to sing? It's a rugby match not a choral group!
Lastly, we definitely don't need drums - I think we've been there, done that. It did serve a purpose at one time but no more, please.'"
The atmosphere of a Wigan match is never going to be the same as playing Salford i know. Also it depends on what happens in the game. I am not obsessed with singing songs, i go to watch the rugby but singing/chanting has always been something that happens when you go to any sporting event and is use to get behind the team. As for the drums, i don't think we need another thread on that.
