I think Colin is complaining because the accumulated cost of attending every game without a season ticket is more than the price of a season ticket. He wouldn't have a point if the club demanded that you pay the price of your season ticket up front. As it is, they offer DD schemes to spread the cost, so he really definitely has no point at all. On the back of that crazy point he has gone on a lovely 3 page long fishing trip.

Exactly I dont have a ST due to 3 young kids and wife working funny shifts so I go when I can I dont think £18.50 is exactly a rip off if I recall its one of the cheapest tickets in the league, even widnes are charging £20 to warch that shower of poop

I've just re-read the whole thread and can't work out whether this is a Colin Fishwick wind up, or if he's a depressive, or if he's just talking out of his rear end. He wants to try a round trip of 260 miles and then pay for a ticket for as home game, then he might have something to whinge about. I really can't see where he's coming from. It's been pointed out that £18.50 is a the lower end of SL admission prices and that a good percentage of our income is from non RL related activities, but he's chosen to ignore the facts. Has he ever made a positive post?

this whole thread has taken an age to read and the only conclusion i can make from it is... colin your talking e, there is no comparison, wire are managing to stay afloat, make money & compete on the pitch despite times of austerity, bratfud on the other hand have had numerous long standing financial problems which have come home to roost! the lesson to learn if any is that different clubs approach issues of finance in different ways and that ours seems to working (good work neil dowson) and long may it continue!
