Not sure if the 'offers' are still as good on this iPad as they were on the iPad 2, but when the iPad 2 came out last year, her mobile phone provider (Vodafone) offered her a 3G iPad 2, 16gb memory for £15-£20 a month, it was on a 24 month contract which is a bit frustrating, but to buy a sim-free iPad 2 with 3G was at least £499, so getting one with a few gb of data thrown in there whilst not having to pay it all in one go seemed decent enough.

I've not read too much into the tablet market, but I do recall when the Borderlands 2 preview came out, most people were saying it was being shown on a tablet that provided console-like graphics. IMO, if a tablet comes out that could run a full version of Football Manager, then I think I'd take the plunge and go for it. Seems like I'll be waiting for a few years for that though.

If you want a tablet with flash id go with the samsung galaxy tab 10.1

Its cheaper than the iPad 2 and in my opinion just as good, i do prefer the android operatring system over iOS as well as it has more customisation options. however the amount of customisation available means it takes a little bit longer to get to grips with all of the features that an iPad.
