It was so well observed that the landlord in the pub I was in thought the sound on his TV was broken, he started faffing about with the remote until I told him.
Well done to the RL family for a really well observed silence (including those at home in the boozer!). Was a bit of noise coming from the concourse behind the cricket ground at first but I doubt they were to know.
I would like to reflect on my previous comment on this topic.
I wasn't wishing to make it derogatory to the topic, but point to Mclaren that people make different choices for such ocassions and making dismissive/derogatory comment like he did was missing the point of the option being to suit each ocassion or choice of those unfortunately having to consider it.
Full praise to all fans at Headingley for the way the respect was observed and as an aside what a great advert for RL the game was.In many ways itself combining for a fitting tribute by players and fans alike.
