Has anyone ever spoken to any newly arrived Aussie players about their first impressions of playing over here?

Trent Waterhouse must have been surprised at the noise generated by the Hull fans when they found their voices & by the large number of Wire fans travelling during such bad weather. Brilliant atmosphere.

I've been to a match at Penrith, his former club, & was one of the few fans without a deckchair & picnic basket! Quite a contrast with the KC Stadium on Sunday.

I was very impressed with Waterhouse. I reckon one or two of our boys are carrying bruises after trying to tackle him. As you say it was a great atmosphere and good to see so many of you making the trip. Hope everyone got home safely.

I'd imagine he didn't expect to get through so much work. He looked like he was blowing in the first half but his fitness will improve. His ability to promote the ball in the tackle attracts extra defenders and creates more space which makes him invaluable to our left edge and more specifically to Myler & Atkins.

I was more than happy with his performance, everything I expected and more; just bloody back yourself big man!
