One thing you will find during cold snaps is when you use your washers, on an icy day, it blows the fuse that also opens the boot. Your best bet is to carry a few spare red fuses (I think they are 10amp) as if you dont you can't get into your boot. A right ball ache.

Halfords ran out of the 10amp fuses last winter you have reminded to get a few spares
