Last July 10 of us Rhinos fans flew from Liverpool to Barcelona with Easy jet, we paid £90 return for the flights

We had 2 nights in Barcelona and 3 nights in Llorret before traveling up to perpignan on game day

We all loved Barcelona and will definitely have the 2 night stay there next season, but we weren't too keen on Llorret as it was rammed full of eastern Europeans, although the "H Top hotel" we stayed in was all inclusive and was also very cheap, We personally will try somewhere else next season

The one thing i would strongly advise if you do travel over there, is to use Catalan Sports Tours as they were fantastic with both the airport transfers and the game day travel, the cost was very reasonable too

The downside to stopping in Perpignan is the amount of spending money you will require, 7 Euros a pint around the town is the norm

Depending on the time of year that the game is to be played, i think that flying from Liverpool to Girona and hire a car as giantdee suggested. Stayed in Tossa De Mar last year, and got a coach in with CST on game day. My only one criticism with CST is that they leave too late. Travel time from Tossa was estimated to be 1 hour 30 mins, it turned out to be 3 hours because of bad traffic. Leaving earlier would allow for more time in Perpingian to soak up atmosphere and have a walk round instead of just sitting in that bar that everyone congregates at.

We flew into Reus (nr Salou) due to it being a much cheaper flight (Ryanair from Liverpool) but it was a bit of a journey (both from Reus to Lloret where we stayed and from Lloret to Perpignan). We have also used Ryanair from east Midlands to Carcassonne.

Oh and beware I have just got a speeding ticket from the Spanish Plod from when we were over there!
