Quote ="ComeOnYouWolves"Tony Smith has a little bit of a rebuilding exercise to do over the next couple of years which will be hard for him to do with Briers, Morley, Solomona, Hodgson in the last year or so off there careers. These are vital cogs in how we play however we have some quality youth coming through and the likes of Myler and Atkins progressing well. I feel we are in safe hands.
I think keeping Mr Smith may become hard over the next couple of years, i get from him that he likes that challenge of taking the underdogs and pushing them up the league. He did that with Leeds, once he had achieved success he left. I think he thrives on that sort of challenge, hopefully though with the support of the board, fans, and players he can stay longer as he is enjoying what he is doing and has the full support of everyone.'"
I think the difference between Leeds when TS left them and us now is that Leeds were set to dominate for a few years whereas we, as you say, will require rebuilding. Perhaps he fancies the challenge of a rebuild in which case he could be with us for a few more seasons yet.
