Evening all!

I'm going to be walking from St Helen's in Swansea to St Helen's in Merseyside from September 25th to October 2nd. That'll be about 200 miles in eight days.

The last leg will go from Warrington to St Helens (about 10 miles or so) on Sunday 2nd October and I'm looking for people that may be interested in getting sponsored and joining that last leg. I've been assured by the foundation that there will be various RL celebrities joining us and there will be a bit of a get together when we get to St Helens.

I'm a Welsh, Salford resident Wigan fan and many people are wondering why I'm going from St Helens to St Helens. This is partly because that title for the walk has a nice ring to it, but mainly because it illustrates that there are more important things in life than sporting rivalry. Therefore I hope many fans of all clubs will get sponsored and come along and have a good craic as they raise money.

As the final leg will begin in Warrington it would be fitting if a few Wire fans could join us. There's already a number of Wigan, Salford and Saints fans that have said they'll come along so I'm hoping the Wire fans won't be left out.
