| Im sorry but i'm struggling to see how some people think that a player who has been playing average for salford at centre , should be walking into our team at Scrum-half ?? As for the crititism of Myler , many of our players went missing in the games against Wigan and Leeds , not just Myler. IMO i think he's a great player who is still growing and i wouldn't be taking him out of the team. The game against france really showed how much he's matured.

Nothing up with having an opinion. You know me, I am all for free speech on here, it is jsut your opinion seems to be absed on very shaky evidence and it appears you are seriously exagerating any minor shortcomings in the development of Myler. It is incontestable that he has improved on last year.
Seen as you don't know what out of line means, I shall google it.
Uncalled for, improper; inappropriate. [...
Not in agreement with general practice, as in Their prices are way out of line with other hotels. Both def. 1 and 2 are metaphoric expressions that transfer being out of alignment to various kinds of behavior.
out of one's line; not in one's line. Not in one's occupation or field of interest. For example, He offered a generous salary, but the work was out of her line, or I'd love to help, but telephone solicitation is not in my line. This usage alludes to line in the sense of “a business or occupation.” [Mid-1800s
( idioms.yourdictionary.com/out-of-line)
We will focus on the first two definitions. Firslty, the second one. Your views are in the minority, it appears. There are many on here defending Myler and I am very happy with his progression. I think you will struggle to find many that think he needs to be dropped (as you appear to be suggesting) On the second point, IMO, you are being very unfair on Myler (by bringing up two matches in which there was no structure anywhere for him to build on and the team as a whole was poor). For the rest of the year (including times when briers had leg strain) he has been marshalling the troops. You are being very unfair on him! You bring vague occurences when the team as a whole were poor.
On the other hand there was his showing at the DW, where he led in defense and atack, and this example [url=http://youtu.be/GV22RWjQrko?t=3m31sset this up against one of the best teams in SL[/url

| Tony Smith, whose judgement I think is pretty spot on, has been delighted with Richie Myler this season so I don't think we need to worry to much about who will be our regular No 7 next season (barring injury of course).

| Think he (Myler) got MOM for the Knights today, so that's twice in a week so he seems to be 'bossing games' okay for the Knights. I reckon he'll be the next cab off the rank for the full England side.
He'd have been well in the running for my player of the season. For me, he was certainly the big improver anyhow. This time a year ago, I was worried for him. Now, I think he has the world at his feet if he keeps working hard.

| You're being quite harsh on him Rob by citing two poor team performances and expecting him to have dragged us through them. I can't actually really recall a situation when Briers has done that.
Do the people criticising Ratchford's defence remember the same comments about Myler? It's never been an issue I.M.O.
