What an inspiration that man has been.

Did anybody else hear the sky presenters laughing during the tribute on Sky Sports news about an hour ago? Kind of ruined what was a great tribute to him...

GENIUS and LEGEND (two words sadly over used in this day and age)

Steve Ovett (awesome, plus I hated the way the BBC used to gush over Coe, and treat Ovett with contempt)
Daley Thompson (always took the mick over Jurgen Hingsen, plus his comment about Princess Anne after LA gold '84)
Trevor Francis (such pace, and an awesome goal he scored for City in the last minute of a match about 30 years ago)
and Sir Ian Botham (that 5 for 1 v the Aussies @ Edgbaston in '81 will never be beaten)
