| The Giants did exactly the same to us last night as on the opening day fixture at MM - they blasted us in the tackle area, simple as that.
Additionally, they had a set of half-backs ............ which we didn't have.
Myler needs to start getting the message that he is a No7 and that it is up to him to shape what happens around him. Fine, he's solid in defence but when we have the ball he's hardly a "go to" man is he?
I also think that we have guys in shirts who are filling in in positions as opposed to playing in there chosen position. Matty Blythe is never a centre and Bridge (to me) is another of those "fill-in" type players around stand-off/centre/full back but not exceptional in any of them. Our game plan seems to consist of getting ourselves close enough to their line so that we can put the ball in the air for Joel to do something with it ............. last night I don't think he got the ball in open play. He's our stand out player so move him into the centres so he gets the ball more.
Also, the amount of dull off-loads last night had me looking around the pitch to see if Wedge was back in a Wire shirt.
All in all, we were done again by the same team doing the same thing twice now and they were well worth their win.

| Quote ="meast"i would imagine most non RL supporters would think warrington wirewolves were a new club judging by all the loyal fans who have supported them through thick and thin sudenly showing up after a 30 year trophy drought was ended
as for humility YED i think its a bit harsh judging us all by a couple of giddy posters, let us enjoy it as we let you enjoy your cup final victory, and on that point, wakefield beat us once in a cup final, but has ultimately proved irrelevent to whats happened the last few years in the league

what do i care about fair weather fans, i have been watching the wire for over 35 years, never observed my team involved in any mergers or absorbtion of other clubs in my lifetime, had a look through the history books, nowt there. fought strongly against the merger talks in the 90's when a fat bookie conspired to mess with my club, where as your team rolled over so uncle mo and his legacy could tickle your belly and consign sheffield to the rubbish pile (which would have happened if not for mark aston!) at that time, correct me if i'm wrong huddersfield became huddersfield sheffield and changed the company name as such and in my opinion took a big dump on both clubs history.
now i'm also aware that you were in big financial turmoil at the time and needed the money from sky due to sheffield but it still must leave a bitter taste in your mouth?

What 30 year trophy drought
Try telling that, to those players with winners medals in Premiership, JPS/Regal trophy, Lancs Cup winning sides.
Yes, we've had a couple of cup final victories recently, but a few of your posters on here need to change their sticky underwear, after an early season (where nowt's won) victory.

and Cas are top of the league. Cas must be better than them, that's how it works isn't it?
We have a better attack than Huddersfield and a better defence. We've played Saints, Wigan and Leeds and they've played us and Wigan. Let's see where they are after a tough run of teams.

A slight increase of 131 people, hardly a hord of glory hunting fans. We were already there.
Wire avg attendance 2008 = 10,607
Wire avg attendance 2010 = 10,738
I love it when clueless folk come on here and start posting . It gives me a chance to do this.

| Quote ="just_browny"Battered by a pack that was more aggressive, powerful and intelligent with the ball.
Forget about the backs, Myler and Bridge had no chance because nothing was going on up front. Monaghan has been dodgy for a couple of weeks, Harrison and Carvell are far better players than they showed last night.
McGillvary is a real talent but the way he runs head on without any attempt to evade the man is going to lead to him getting a serious injury. Even if Morley had stayed perfectly still McGillvary's head would still have run straight into his shoulder, despite Eddie's bleating.'"
Couldn't agree more.
We were very poor, lucky to score 10 in my view.
