Florida..... the highlight of my Christmas trip each year is the Boxing Day game... which inevitably gets cancelled and they move it to the Sunday that I fly home!!
My Wire day varies depending on day Fri/Sat/Sun and if i'm working either on the day and what i'm doing the day after.
200 mile, 400 mile round trip
If i'm working the day after the game then i'm up and down on the same day
If i'm off the next day then i park at my mum's in Golborne at stop the night.
If it's a Friday game and i'm off work or finish before 15:00 then i'll go. If i'm working the next day the i obviously have to come back home which is usually 01:00, if i'm working the next day it's an early start of between 6 and 9 the next day.
A Saturday game, i have to be off work and not on call, so usually miss most Saturday games. If i'm off next day again a night at the mothers.
Sunday games, i work 5 sundays in a 15 week period and these games are almost always a straight up and down trip.
Blackpool, so an hour by train with a bit of luck. However, the Blackpool-Preston route seems to be the Western world's most cared for bit of track, so quite often it's a rail replacement bus service.
