QuoteWarrington Wolves have invested in home-grown talent once again with Tyrone McCarthy and Lee Mitchell both agreeing one-year contract extensions.
The two young players have experienced competitive Rugby League for both the Wolves and Leigh this season having joined the Centurions on dual registration earlier in the year.

I know that it's a bit of a cliche, but next year really is a massive year for those two lads. They've not had the opportunity nor have they particularly forced the opportunity this year to really establish themselves, they must do that next year or the talent that exists beneath them such as Ben Evans will see them moved on.
From a view as a Leigh fan im gutted, these lads are very good players, good luck to them with Wire ,they are a credit to the club, always give 100% NEVER stop trying, hope to see you both wear the Leigh shirts again, you will always be made welcome at LSV,and i hope we can forge a stronger realationship with the Wire on a club to club basis, iwas so happy to see Wire humble the Pies, cmon you Wire hope you do the Double.
