This is great news for RL. We need a strong team / club in Manchester / Salford and the location could not be better. I would guess that over 100k vehicles travel over Barton Bridge each day. I bet the Chill Factor gets a lot of people passing it thinking "I should give that a try" This would be similar (not the same) for Salford. It would be sort of free advertising. I heard a caller on GMR on Sunday say that the RFL should move to Salford to coincide with the BBC's move there. Salfords ground would be an ideal location for a new base for the RFL. They just need to get rid of Sims and Mcrae and start getting their act together on the pitch.

Enjoy Salford purley for the fact you can still watch a game whilst in the beer queue - same they couldnt just pick the existing ground up and move it!
