I have never rated Bridge and he has never CONSISTENTLY done anything to change my mind,yes he has had the odd good game but so have many other AVERAGE players,his defence is his weak point and if we are to achieve we need the best centres available,Bridge is a jack of all trades and a master of none,he will be a useful utility player but never a 1st choice imo ,but I will leave it to Tony Smith to decide and trust in his choice
