Who on earth said Status Quo didn't sound the same? Everything they've ever done sounds the same. As Thecko once commented: "they've made a very good living from 3 chords"

Seen them a couple of times live and they are very, very good. The only problem they have is their music seems to attract a crowd of morons and it seems to cause problems, possibly the City/United stuff I don't know, but I think that to a degree has ruined peoples opinions on them, Noel is one of the best ever British song writers, along with Morrissey, Lennon etc. Where as Liam is the a[size=9.[/sizersehole, the presence on the stage, a great front man. The argument whether or not they are better than The Roses is a difficult one, The Stone Roses only released two albums, one being brilliant, one being very good. Oasis have released alot of albums containing brilliant songs, but only one or two truely great albums, although I love Oasis' music, I think it was time for a split. Time to let Noel establish himself as a great solo man. They were past it anyway.
