| No chance of a replay, the bbc will demand that the game to be over for 4.30,in time for the final scores coming in.

You mean no chance of a Golden Point?

| Don't mean to say I told you so, but... I did, about three days ago.
I don't have a problem with a final going to a replay. The cup should be decided at the end of a full, 80-minute encounter and, while regular rounds can be tricky to fit into a season, the final is still the pinnacle of that club's season and so you should get a proper winner.
What the situation would be like in terms of scrapping for replay tickets, however, I can only dread to think.

| Disappointed with the possibility of having a replay, but given that there is one if it ends up all square at Wembley, I can't understand why they've only gone for a 28k stadium.
Name: Reebok Stadium
Inauguration: 1 September 1997
First match: Bolton-Everton
Capacity: 28,000 seats
Pitch dimensions: 105*68
Address: Burnden Way, Bolton, Lancashire, BL6 6JW
Given that we've sold around 12k through the club already (and 1000's more from the RFL) I can see many fans being disappointed.
I really think that they'd have been better with a 40k stadium and the possibility of a few empty seats.
Let's hope we don't need it.

| Whether you like it or not, its not like the RFL have changed the goal posts in time for our final. Its always been the case that if the final is drawn then it goes to a replay. But this IS the first time I remember the RFL announcing plans about a possible scheduled replay. Maybe due to the fact they reckon this is one of the closest cup finals in years?
The reason, I assume, that the previous rounds go to golden point is to limit the amount possible games that any given team could end up playing. Admittedly, the chances of a draw in Rugby League these days are very slim so this is probably a load of hot air over nothing.
As for a scramble of tickets, I can't see too many "bandwagoners" being fussed about getting the time off work in order to go to the replay, especially when The Reebok is one of the most terrible places to go in terms of actually getting there.
