Which bit of lockyer signing a new deal at the broncos this year don't you get?? He's just signed his last big nrl contract with his home town club who he has played for his whole pro life!! What on gods earth makes any of you think he's gonna do a massive U-turn and sign for wire??

Great player but it would be a short term fix (as usual) we need to be building for the future now not gettin over seas near end of career money grabbers myler or ratchford for me

I don't remember seeing this anywhere, but I do remember seeing a list of NRL out of contract players earlier this month and I'm pretty sure Darren Lockyer was still on it.

Well that list is wrong and it was agreed with the broncs a while back!! It was around the time Wigan were after him earlier this season. It was in the Aussie press, not a big fuss made as nobody expected him to do any different.

I have just found the artical and it says he's agreed a new deal. It didn't say he had signed a new deal? So he could well be available
