If Briers continues to show the desire of the last month or so, and demonstrates that he wants to be a part of the 'New Team', which it's looking like 2010 is going to be, given the cap space we now have, and with the other folk off contract, I think it might happen.

As for the rest of the post, I couldn't agree more. It looks like we will need 1 new halfback if Monas leaves (although that could be Bridge), and if Briers can play consistently to his potential then he is a better option than many of the players out there, and less risky than getting an Aussie to come and try and settle...
