Can't see a problem with this, as the lad has played at full back representative level & is his natural/prefered. Also, as has been discussed on here a lot, full back is a specialist position & not one that you can just "drop into". Dont get me wrong, I think Hicks did a decent job covering, but he's a much more effective weapon in his natural/prefered wing position.
It's also nice to see a coach playing players in their correct positions - whether this is successful remains to be seen.

To beat Saints you have to kick high to the outside backs & to target the side where Armstrong is (or who ever is replacing Meli).

Leaving Hicks & King in the backs is the better option, especially as our main strike centre is out.
