Too early to be thinking about this, but I went shopping today for a few t-shirts for my holidays. In Sports Direct I came across a Lee Cooper T-Shirt which I think would make an ideal design for next season, similar to this years red and black shirt but in PnB.

Looks a great idea however there is a chance it may look like the players shirt so it will have to modified with collars etc , also the BIG PURPLE SPONSOR should stand out

On a serious note, am I still ok to buy my fruit and veg from Aldi? Or do I have to purchase the exact same product at a much inflated price from M&S to look cool. Dogs and cats, please advise an old man.

On a falling apart middle aged body which carries a little more weight that it really should a £5 t-shirt from Sports Direct looks just as 'stylish' (ie not at all) as any designer gear. In fact more so as expensive designer gear would make me look the male equivalent of mutton.

I bought a pair of shorts from sports direct once for my Holidays!!Dove in the pool and all the gussett blew out of the shorts!!!

Two letters for you chaps - H & M. Not expensive at all and you can avoid going in Sports Direct aka The Donnay Shop. Either that or Jacamo.

H&M is okay, but the best value for money clothing on the high street comes from the Blue Harbour range at Marks & Spencer. Nice plain polo shirts and checked shirts are £12.50 each for example. Cargo shorts are also around £12.

Adults who shop in Sports Direct are wrong.

I let the wife get my stuff mainly, i have zero interest in fashion.

If I did that I would be walking around in purple tops (probably a floral effect) and the cheapest Asda smart price jeans. I have very little interest in fashion (just enough not to want to wear floral purple tops and smart price jeans) but lots of interest in photography. £25 on a t-shirt, or £5 on a cheap t-shirt and £20 towards my next body or bit of glass and I'll be down to Sports Direct every time.

Back to my original point though, I do like the old fashioned narrow hoop design for a wire shirt.
