| A great start last year including their trouncing of us,they tailed off towards the end of the year. Squad more or less the same as last year and in Orr, Dorn, Randall and Purdham they have good skill players in the correct areas. I think they will push for the 8 but fall just short again.

Leigh had the worst ever season in SL and were spouting rubbish about 10k plus crowds and their first game in SL drew less than 5000 at home. They brought absolutely nothing to the game on or off the pitch. They have a great stadium now, but that's not the be all and end all.
The Crusaders are a different matter and I worry for them but they've got the licence so see what happens this and next year.
london provide a lot more to the league than quite a few clubs but I'm not really seeing the development from joining quins which is disappointing.

| Actually Halifax had the worst ever season in Super League when they finished the 2003 season with 0 points after having their single victory cancelled out by a 2-point deduction for financial irregularities.
Leigh managed a whopping 5 points by comparison.

I remembered that after I posted but what the hell, Leigh offered nothing at all the the league. What exactly would they provide now, new stadium aside?

| No higher than 8th IMO...
Although Quinns can play some exciting rugby at times and can turn anybody over when in the mood...
I just hope come Feb the 7th we show no complacency when they come to the HJ...Unfancied teams just love to spoil the party, just ask Wigan 1st game last season(Wakey)...And us a few years ago 1st game V Salford...

| Gareth Haggerty is a huge loss, literally.
They'll start like a house on fire, give somebody a good spanking along the way, hopefully not us this year then it'll all go wrong. Their fans don't seem overly keen on McDermott, so if they did start badly, he could find himself under pressure. It sort of looks a squad that lacks class, i'm sure they'll work hard, have good ethics, and in folk like Dorn always carry a threat, but sort of lack that moment of brilliance that decides games.

| pretty strapped for cash, and agree that the link up with quins ru has not had the benefits that lots of folk down here had hoped. what is lacking is marketing and promotion. there is no lack of talent coming thru in the south, but it does need time for kids to realise that rl is a viable career, just the same as union. however, looking at the crowd at twickenham for the quins wasps match (over 76k) then there is still a good amount of work to do to convince the london public that quins rl can provide the entertainment, and the success that they crave

| Can see 10th for Quins, they should have enough to finish above Salford and Celtic and possibly a few more.

| It baffles me how they can get 10,000 for Aus V NZ, but only average 3,000 for Quins RL league games. As for Leigh in 2005 (as mentioned above) they weren't shy of the odd 3,000 attendance figure but peaked to 7,000 for games against us and Wigan.

Simples. The vast majority were Aussies and Kiwi's from the London area. Not Quinns RL supporters.
