perhaps emailing the link to all members and people on the mailing list at the Willows will get more completed and present a proper result.

£4 high!?! It's much in running with other venues. I'd hardly call it high.

As for a park and ride scheme in cadishead. Your joking surely? All they would need would be a robin reliant to ferry the people.

I suspect the nearest train sstation to the new stadium is Irlam (on the Irlam/Cadishead border). A bus from that area could be worthwhile.

Just wondering if the club could some how charter a boat from the quays to the ground. I may be wrong but isn't there a service already set up between Manchester and Liverpool at the moment that passes the new stadium. (hopefully with a licensed bar aboard)

Mersey Ferries run a 6 hour tour between Quays and Liverpool a couple of times a week. The issue with a boat between teh Quays and the stadiium (as opoposed to the ones that run between town and Quays/Old Trafford for football is that you have to go through a set of locks that takes time and money, and I don't think there will be anywhere to moor by the stadium as the plan is for the land between the stadium and the canal to be railway lines servicing Port Salford.

Just because it's in running with other venues doesn't mean it isn't high.

Sorry but £4 to park on top of a £20 ticket and over priced beer is scandelous.
Parking should be free to anyone attending the game, we need all the bums on seats and simply put charging for parking will hit attendancies.

I think £4 is peanuts if it means my car is safe and secure. Obviously I'd rather pay nothing, but I wouldn't cry at £4.

If your driving then you shouldn't be drinking beer so that argument shouldn't be an issue. If it's a car with multiple occupants then the whole price of petrol and parking would still work out cheaper than public transport you bunch of whingeing feckers!!!!!!!

I think the idea of a park-and-ride is a good one, but it should be close to a rail station so it can serve two purposes.
Don't know the area well enough to know whether such a site exists though??

£2 to park-and-ride or £5 to park at the stadium should encourage enough people to use the facility without clogging up stadium car parks, whilst allowing the club to make money out of those who choose to take the easy/lazy option.

Can't help but agree we don't need any extras added to the price of attending matches our support is dreadful without more obstacles.

There will be lots of car parking space this should be used to encourage people to attend the game.

As I understand it the club get the ticket revenue, but I'm guessing the stadium owners get the car park income so no incentive whatsoever for them to do tat for free

I think the heads of all concerned partys would need to get together on this and good sense would prevail, like in the case of Swinton precienct where it became neccassary to bring back free parking as it became a ghost town.

Either way I 'll not be paying an extra four quid on top of my Barton experience.
