P1ssed up apparently, strictly no boozing and Hick and a few others went out on the razzle!

Why aren't Hardaker and Graham, to name just a couple, being thrown out of the squad aswell then? Surely Hock must have done something worse than just being on the lash.

Nothing like spreading rumours and slating a guy when nobody actually has a clue what went on.

He might be well shut, if Saturdays performance is anything to go by what are the chances of England not getting humiliated on Saturday by the Aussies.

I wouldn't mind betting if others have (as others have said the only fact we know is he has been kicked out of camp) been involved his previous track record has been taken into account. I will be glad when details come out and we see that Chase isn't involved as the last thing we want are our two big signings for next season getting involved in scyncronised knobbery together.

The Doc is basically saying on twitter that he got ed up and missed training, the others must of all trained. IMO a fine was more suitable but kicking him out will not help England's chances, apparently the players arnt happy over hock's exclusion and are all said to be angry about it.

Marwan getting aload of crap from everyone on twitter about Hock. Marwan advised he has spoken to him and the RFL and everything will be annouced tommorrow. But its good to see the good dr sticking up for his players

Guess with Hock these are the chances you take when he's your player.

Give it a rest, nobody knows anything about the situation so until you do so I would suggest keeping quiet before you make yourself look like a t*t. Anyway, it's for the best all round. We don't risk an injury to Hock and Ferres has been in better form over the course of season and is more deserving of a spot.

The biggest question out of all of this is Steve McNamara's ability to coach at the highest level.

he seriously broke the team discipline rules, Martin gleeson lost his lively hood over it not just a little bonus for playing for england. If anything Marwan should of kept his mouth shut or at least said the robotic thing of "i will have a chat to him when he gets back".

any rugby player can loose his cool and until all the facts come out you should not be speculating what he as done. Or even judge the player also if there were other players involved then you have to ask question of managment why only one kicked out. Also you cant say if thats the case that some other player did not start it. so people should not jump till the facts come out

Hocks previous form for being a brainless idiot goes before him here. He may not be on his own in any wrong doing but because of his reputation he needs to be squeeky clean and he can't manage it.

The lad has wasted his career which given his talent, is a crying shame. He should have been a massive weapon for England in this tournament but he's again hit the self destruct button.

I like Salford, if class them as my second team due to family connections and as good as it is to see money being spent, I really worry about the make up of that squad next year. To have so many guys who've had discipline issues in the past like Hock, Smith, Chase and Gleeson is going to end one way for me. Its a tough balancing act though as without those issues, the chances are they wouldn't be at Salford in the first place.

I think if were being honest people have found Hock guilty already based on his quite obvious previous.

The one persons take I would kill to find out on this is Noble as from what you read when he was GB coach he was quite the disciplinarian. I do sometimes wonder if Hock coming was as much the Doc as Noble but there's nothing to support that but my suspicions.

Agreed he was responsible for a number of penalties against italy, i doubt brett ferres will eb in the side though, they will have ologhlin at 13, burgress moving to 2nd row for hock i would think

That isn't double standards, it's the way things work. Hock wasn't kicked out for the indiscretion, but the add on to it.

Don't have a problem with team discipline, it is essential. Two things that strike me though, firstly let us wait until we know the facts before commenting on the punishment. Secondly, if I was McNamara and wanted to stamp my authority, Hock is an easy target as everyone is agreeing already he has got what he deserved without knowing the crime. Risk free for McNamara who after all is roundly condemned by all and sundry as not having a clue. Not a bad way to divert attention away from himself.
