Bailey is a great professional and clubman, the main reason he stayed on this season was to help the young lads come through, and the likes of Mossop, Farrell and Tuson have shone this season. Great defender who organises the line, athough he does lack a great amount of impact in attack.

an Organiser in defence is one thing we lack imo, this kind of thing is overlooked when on the look out for players, im convinced @ times there is more talking in a A level exam than there is in our line id sign him just for this to try and reorganise our defensive structure.

I'd love to see Bailey at the Willows, would be far more impressed with him signing than I was Nero
(not that I particularly have anything against Nero).

IMO he would be a decent addition to your current squad

he always gives 100% and is defensively very sound. He is a very experienced campaigner and in the past has done a lot of the talking on the pitch

OK he may not be the fastest going forward or a wingmans centre when he plays there.

He has given tremendous service to us at Wigan, and really has to look at his options with Tomkins, Hansen, farrell, tuson, o loughlin, walker, hoffman and hock (if rumours are correct), all fighting for back row spots at Wigan

if you've got better then fair enough, if you've not he would be a very good addition

i'd much prefer him in our 2nd row than parker/adamson(on recent form)/littler/sibbit

Would much rather have Hansen than Bailey. Bailey is decent but Hansen is quality. Can't see it happening though unless anybody knows otherwise?!

Apparently he's big mates with Feka, and of course Salford would be like 'coming home' for him being brought up around Salford as a lad. Plus his Dad's a Salford great.

As I said he's contracted to Wigan until 2011. At that point he will only be two years off a testimonial, so I can't see him moving unless he is offered very big money.

Maybe he doesn't see much of a future at Wigan with Hoffman coming in, JT and SOL already in the backrow and young lads like Mossop/Farrell etc coming through.

Who knows how hoffman fits in next year, thats a question for next year though not a year in advance

Not if he asks for a release to take up a contract elsewhere. Does seem ultra far-fetched though.
