Hi Shirl,
If you put the account number and sort code of the donation account here then people could transfer money directly.
Can you - or any foundation member who knows - put the donation account details up here please? I guess that it's best for donations to be in place before Monday 7 January, and today is the last banking day before then.
If you don't think it's something you can share on the forum, could you pm the details to people who ask for them (I'm asking - I'm away from home and don't have access to my cheque book).
Thank you for all the work you've put in.

| Sorry to intrude on your bad situation.
In answer to one of the posts- Salford has a lot of SL fans wishing the club well including me. But for the efforts of our chairman and new investors, we would have gone to the wall a long time ago given our losses.
Without even trying to look into what has gone on to get the club into the sorry mess it finds itself in, I find it astonishing that anyone could consider donating directly to the club at this time to help them fight the petition after what happened last at Bradford when £500k went down the swanie.
The chances of £60K saving the club in its present legal form given the scale of its debts (£1500K was sought not long ago) is remote and that is being kind.
There has been a lack of any clarity with what will happen next; paying off one petition will encourage other creditors to try to wind the club up surely?
Why hasn't a restructuring with a CVA considered or has it?
Someone asked on here why doesn't Peel pay off the £60K and I can't see if anyone has answered that? They own the stadium so will be asking themselves what is the point in having an empty stadium.
Remind me, I thought Bradford went bust and a new company was formed and was not kicked out of SL? Were they not given a 1 year probation period? I would have thought this was a positive precident?
I would have thought that if anyone deserves the money its FR - at least they can keep their powder dry and see what develops and perhaps emerge as a significant shareholder in either a NewCo or a reconstructed CVA co.

| The Bradford situation was complicated by the role of Caisley, and the internecine shareholder strife. Whether the £500k would have saved the club had Caisley not intervened with the intent of sacking the board, without then producing a viable alternative of his own (leading so many to assume, rightly or wrongly, that Caisley wanted to pick up the club for a song from an administrator of his choosing), we will never know. My personal view is that it probably WOULD have -at least for a year or so - but it would not have solved the underlying issues, and ongoing mediocrity and continuing internecine strife would have been a certainty.
Don't forget too that Bradford have been denied a large part of the Sky money for 2013, so the new owners will have to put in many hundreds of thousands from their own or other resources. I would assume THAT precedent would be followed too if Salford went into administration?
And also don't forget that the administrator at Bradford inexplicably sacked all the coaching staff and nearly all the non-playing staff shortly after his appointment. It took the Bullbuilder Hardship Fund, very much supported by Warrington and Huddersfield and various corporate sympathetic parties, to provide the financial support to those staff who carried on working for nothing that kept the club in being until a new owner manifested himself. Maybe that too would be a precedent an administrator at Salford would seek to follow?
As I warned all those who saw administration as an easy option at Bradford before it happened, be very careful guys what you wish for. Administration is horrible, with enduring consequences, and not a route to be considered lightly.

Wishing you well for the new season, that has been a bone of contention with a lot of supporters on here, are we just
collecting monies to pay the present incumbents debt, but at the moment we are just raising money, and in the fullness
of time that money will be used appropriately,in your post you say you would of gone under long ago without a new
chairman and investment, that is just what the majority of us want,

| As posted on another topic, the fighting fund is being held independent of the club, and will only be used once we are clear if the club is in new hands, either an investor or post Administration. Fans from Bradford have been absolutely brilliant in sharing their experiences, good and bad, so we have learnt from their experiences. The fund will be used as and when it can do the most good and will be decided what it will be used for by the fans who have shown they care about our future. Great effort so far, and last nights event kicked off what we hope will be a series of fund raising events. Finally great to see the couple who travelled over from Bradford to help support the event.

| I noticed the details are now out and about, nice one for sorting it. As it was, I chucked my currently intended donation in the buckets yesterday. Depending on the outcome of today's hearing and talks it'll have to wait until payday on Thursday now!

| Say for instance the Dr fails to negotiate a package suitable for himself or his consortium. This leaves us with the WUP bill at £350k. Now, Say FR made the £60k they set out for to pay Pattens wages. This would be a ridiculous move IMO.
It would be pointless using the £60k on the Patten payment because there's another outstanding bill of £291k left to pay for the tax. So common sense tells me that the fundraising money would be best spent upon a reform which was my original recommendation 2 weeks ago to which was slated. So to pay Patten etc would see the money being thrown down a black hole.

| The whole things hypothetical.
Lets just see what happens in reality and that will impact the status of the Winding Up Order.
With a bit of luck,we might then be able to talk about what's happening on the pitch

Philyourboots, how many times do people need to explain basic English to you? The fans will decide where the money is used, even you can have your say, just turn up at the meetings instead of sitting behind your key board. Use some energies you have for the good of the YOUR club. We are all just supporters trying to do our bit. If the supporters don't want to put into the present club then it will not happen end of.

Redgunner, in case you haven't noticed but there's an additional £291k what's been added to the WUP since the fundraising efforts. If you can do basic maths £60k leaves £290k left to pay meaning money thrown down a black hole.
Hopefully the doctor will buy and bring in his OWN people which would be perfect outcome for us all.

| Philyourboots! I have supported Salford long enough to know the mess we are in but some of us are not prepared to sit behind a key board tapping the same old rubbish out. We know we are in the . Have you ever thought the money might just be used to reform the club from the ashes if we go under, mind you I suppose I should do what the rest do & ignore you.

Sorry thought that I'd read it was from recent donations.
That's the kind of thing that I'd like to see the money raised by SOS going towards when the take over makes the whole SOS redundant, anything that either puts the players on a level playing field with the rest of Super League teams or goes towards the youngsters getting some much needed investment.

Correct. Largely from money raised from last year's sponsor a try scheme and the curry & quiz night.

As the Warrington revenue streams received a mention at St Thomas church it may be worth noting that their supporters, prior to Simon Moran getting involved big-time,started a Squadbuilder scheme - [url=http://www.squadbuilder.co.uk/sqbwhat.aspApologies for the Linky but click on as much as possible[/url and even the lowest positioned of professional/semi-professional clubs have a [url=http://www.thunderrugby.com/page.php?id=980Squadbuilder[/url as does another club recently with financial troubles - [url=http://www.wakefieldwildcats.co.uk/community/squadbuilderWakefield Trinity Wildcats[/url
I have heard it helps in all sorts of ways - travel expenses, overnight stays while player decides to sign etc.
With Paul Highton now responsible/involved with - player welfare - I am certain that may require some funding, also.
As it is the players most supporters go to see we should make them a priority - especially after the recent events.
I do hope the supporters follow the lead set by Dr Koukash and we maintain the momentum.
