Avaialble but not match fit. To take bailey we released steve crossley who played last week. Bailey will need a few weeks to get up to his paces. So not injured not suspended but not match fit. Either way the others are still missing a huge chunk of our team through pure bad luck, like your INJURED players.

Certainly the worst injury crisis I've ever seen at the Club. It's a shame too, as I can see it costing us in the table. Hull away will be difficult even though they are struggling, and a game we need to win to keep the top eight hopes alive.

Its looking bleak isnt it but i cant fault the heart from yday. Hull will comfortably beat us in fact anyone in sl would beat us with our players out!

It's come at the worst time though. We're gonna be dropping points against teams we're competing with for the 7th and 8th spots.The suspensions are our own fault but I've never known an injury crisis like it. Just our luck. Sign some decent players then pretty much have the squad wiped out with injuries.

Does anyone know if Locke was carrying an injury or got it during the match.

It was a pity as few signs yesterday of what he can achieve, when he ran the line the Cas players didn't know what to do and even on one leg when he made their break in the second half he was still rapid.

I think the fact that he was named as starting on the wing says he's still carrying an injury - what a gutsy performance from him though - and indeed all the others - just need more of the same on Friday!!!!!
Really impressed with Mozza just went looking for work constantly and showed the meaning of the word commitment! Hope his ankle isn't too bad and he can be available for Friday

Think yesterday we saw Matty Gee telling Harris he is more than ready too be a quality prop, looked aggressive in both defense and attack.

Was hugely impressed by Oliver Gildart, looked very illusive and on a couple of occasions showed composure when he made a break to not just throw a wild speculator pass. Maybe one that we will look to extend the loan and try for permanently at the end of the season.

Spoke briefly to Locke yesterday and he is still struggling with his groin, and it was tweaked further when he was ankle tapped as he broke for the try in 2nd half, but he was determined to play through the pain, enjoyed the game but obviously gutted with the loss..

How can someone still be struggling with a groin injury after the thick end of 10 months, surely if it's that much of an issue it be operated on?

Agree re groin - surely the medics should be advising surgery or if delaying he needs pre match pain killers & maybe half time too.

After yesterday you can add Hood, Godwin, Morley and Locke to the injury list. Locke was outstanding as others have said even on one leg, imagine him fully fit? Such a frustrating situation.

Honourable mention for Locke. After scoring his second he was looking for someone else to take the kick, but realised there was no one else capable. Apart from Johnson

The extremely frustrating thing about this injury crisis is that we were finally realising our potential as a team after a year and a half of under performance. I actually wonder if this club is cursed at times. No club in Superleague could cope with 12+ players missing without it having a huge impact on results. The big question now is will we get enough players back soon enough to register enough points to make the top eight? If we don't and we get back to something like a full strength team for the qualifiers I think we'll be too strong for the other clubs.

How does getting injured make someone a "pussy"? Or are we just searching for a scapegoat again?

He made public a couple of months ago that he receives injections & has seen numerous specialists, whatever the nature of the injury is, it's obviously a c@nt to cure.
I may be biased towards the "potential Scotsman" but I think the lad deserves credit for getting on with things, whilst the social media fiasco was going on!!

Quite agree with you. The lads a good un and I think he just wants to get sorted out and play for Salford. May be putting off an op until the end of season
