FWIW i was very disappointed when Cas let Eden go as he was outstanding in the academy but he just hasn't kicked on. Terrible in defence and its his flashy looking loose carry that causes him to drop so much ball.

He's not that bad.His problem is he doesn't seem to understand that you can't carry a ball loosely with one arm into a 2 man tackle on your 20 metre line.He's done it time and time again for us.
Saying that,he can also make a darting burst and do a great off load to set up a try.Swings and roundabouts,but his mistakes are sometimes very costly...much prefer Cockayne at fullback.

If he could take on board what the coaches say instead of just playing his natural game no matter the circumstance he could be a top player.

Eden did well underneath the high ball. It's something they obviously targeted before the game.
However, I thought his positional play wasn't great; I thought he wasn't deep enough for a couple of Widnes kicks, and they caught him out by kicking early a couple of times. Nevertheless, not a bad debut all in all.
