| Quote ="Early Bath"Not really Barton - Maybe we should be fighting back. Besides Barrow are not in SL are they? Just feel we should be on the hunt for even more youth and go into the next Franchise scenario with a full team of British lads. I feel that would be our best approach and certainly acceptable to the RFL.'"
Brilliant notion, we go down this road and hope that we get some that appriecate the break and chance to play in the big time and show loyalty to the club and eventually we get a solid squad of youngesters who can form the long termback bone of the team and we become somewhat of a beacon and as yuo say it can't help with what will be a near impossible task of secureing the next franschise without a stadium worthy of SL.

SALFORD City Reds look set to lose the services of two tremendous talents.
For England international scrum half Richard Myler has turned down the biggest contract offer in the club’s history and is widely reported to have been lined up to replace Barrow-bound Lee Briers at Warrington Wolves.

Didn't even realise any rumours of us looking at him were serious...? Then again they do get half their rumours from these boards
Regardless of what people say about him, he's a quality player and I would definitely have him at the club if we could get him as a replacement for Myler.

| Heard we are after Shane Tronc from NQC along with Wakefield, Could this be the reason that stapleton hasnt been given a new deal?
Also heard we have spoken to Rocky Trimarchi, young back row forward to replace leuluai with parker moving prop

He is a promising young player who would be a very good signing. He is very much one for the future though but he is a big lad for his age. I have heard this rumour too as I was told he doesnt want to return to Wigan because he has been treated badly. This is a recurring theme with young Wigan players, although their fans always deny it. I think it is probably more likely that he will stay at Huddersfield but you never know. I would also imagine that other clubs would be interested in him.

Given that Mossop has received a lot of praise since going on loan to Huddersfield and that he's shown so much promise my guess is that the only way he'd be playing for us next season would be if he was involved in a swap deal for Myler.

Can't say I know much about Ostick - not watched much of the Championship this season. Anyone seen him in action at all?

| Malc has got the work rate of a 21 year old def worth another 2 years. Big phil has easlily got 2 years left in them legs at this level. Loose stapo to slow for super league big phils got a better game and the pace to hurt ppl/make metres. Cashmere is slow to but maybe hang on to him. Robbie still got abit of magic here and there. Jewit needs to buck up . and ratchford is coming on great just hes not a centre!!

| ok when Steve Simms does his next Oz trip there are a few lower graders he should look at instead of looking at oldies looking for there pension payoffs....from the bulldogs Brent Crisp full back/winger with lots of pace & a goal kicker Charlie Leaeno a damaging front rower..from the Roosters Liam Foran..another full back Shannon Gallant from Wests/Tigers ..& an old fave from Balmain Dave Gower hes been killing them in Premier League last of all lock forward also from Balmain Jared Farlow these guys are the pick of the lower grades & would not cost as much as the usual turkeys looking for the big pay day..so Steve if the moneys tight look at these ....

Is this the same David Gower we had a season or so back
I think he would be worth a shot again, didn't do anything wrong as far as the fans could see, he gave his all on the pitch when he played.
