When FCUM stop being obsessed with United although they are nothing to do with the club then I will stop having a dig.
And it will continue to amuse me when the so called "rebels" lose.

Without wanting this to turn into the usual slanging match, in which ways do you see FC as being 'obsessed' with Man Utd? Taking into account that pretty much everyone who goes to FC supports MUFC, and many people attend both Gigg Lane and Old Trafford.

If FCUM are referred to as 'Rebels' and they are also obsessed by MUFC, who may be referred to as red 'Devils' we may have a mascot costume they'd be interested in?!

The Ammies were yet again spectacularly got beat (again) 6 Nil by Stourbridge 6 in the FA Trophy, it just keep getting better and better



Irlam lost 3 Nil to AFC Liverpool in front of 256 supporters quite easily the biggest crowd of their season.

Blimey. Seems less Liverpool supporters are willing to vote with their feet given their predicament.

Not everyone who was involved with getting FC off the ground said that. From the very start it was open to all United fans, whether they still went to Old Trafford/other United games or not. In fact, there's a few young lads who had never had the opportunity to follow their team in the flesh before, who got their first match-going experiences at FC. They're now going home and away with United.

I understand that the club isn't for everyone, but that doesn't mean people have the right to have a pop at those of us who follow FC without a clear understanding of what the club is about. And God forbid a club set up and supported by life-long Manchester United fans keeps a Manchester United connection amongst it's fan-base, eh?

Anyway, we're just going over and over old ground here. Onto the football.

FC beat Radcliffe Borough 1-0 in the FA Trophy First Qualifying Round yesterday with a 90th minute goal from Adam Turner. It saved what had been the dullest game of football I've seen for 3 years!

Frickley away on Wednesday. Should be an interesting night judging by the town's reputation!

FC have been drawn against Worksop away in the 2nd qualifying round of the fa trophy to be played on 1st November.

Basically it was a 24 page document on the community work FC are doing. Pretty impressive stuff.

Seems a bit harsh considering he's only played for Bolton Wanderers, Lincoln City, Doncaster Rovers, Crystal Palace, Watford, Oldham Athletic, Barnsley, Charlton Athletic, Bradford City, Wigan Athletic, Halifax Town, Boston United, Rochdale, Scarborough, Bradford Park Avenue, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Northwich Victoria, Frickley Athletic, Bridlington Town, Emley and now Salford City!

Only clocked up 884 games too, should should be plenty of petrol left in the tank?!
