| Fair enough Rl, Walshovski THOUGHT there may of not been 5000+ there. Good enough reason to jump down his throat and go on a rant then?!

I think some folk on here owe you an opology. Jack Deardon has just confirmed an attendance of 4162. Therefore aroundabout figure of 3500 must of been on the stands if you count the 600ish corporate.

| I wouldn't trust cloth ears Deardon to know what day it is. He is abysmal with callers, just hearing what he wants to hear - Trevor Hunt is so much more professional

5252 so you've got sky, bbc sport website, and 3 papers and London broncos official website all say 5250 but as jack deardon knows all and is the official attendance counter I'll take what he says as true.

| for some reason Rugby League is blessed with useless commentators and media folk, I listen to JD and his interviews are very poor, he has a set of questions and dosen't move away from them despite the answer he gets from the first question. An interview should be a two way conversation that moves along as the conversation moves as you would talk to a mate in the pub, that way the interview is more interesting and a lot more tends to come out as the interviewee is not as guarded.

| Whatever the crowd was it is still farcical that at all 3 games played so far we there have been two different attendances announced for each game.

The difference between the two reported attendances on Friday is 1,088. If the corporate was at full capacity of 750 that still leaves 338 additional attendees. Early Bath you are sensible poster who appears in the know with the internal workings of the club - can you shed any light on this?'"
The wrong figure was given out to the press and the amended figure is now shown.
The sponsorship though was good Walshovski and many new faces seen as well. Agree with you that it augers well but some tough matches ahead.

Back on thread great win, was hoping we'd nil London but Adamson's pathetic attempt to down Kafusi made sure that was never going to happen. Really am impressed with the playing, coaching staff. I wish the same could be said from the wats upstairs.
'"
A great win indeed.
I wasnt goading, but making an observation... You said your never going to another game because you wont line other peoples pockets namely Tarry and Wilky. But youve made it clear you were there. That just shoots a hole through your points. anyway if your going to get upset over an observation then we'll drop it.
Watching the game back showed Jordan James go the wrong way for the first try then Adamson, Jewitt and Patten fail to control Kafusi near the line. Insulting Adamson because you believe he's related wont help your case. The lad had a good game and scored a good try.

He also gave a very interesting interview in the programme - about the unseen work and Matt Parish - and explained his very sporting gesture when he was first to go to Kavanagh when he was injured at Widnes.

You love being corrected don't you Lyrad Red your embarassing, seen as though you're a great observer, you would of seen a post by me lately on another thread explaining my attendence on friday night was courtesy of Salford council. I don't wish to drag the thread down but your constant goading is the cause of my reactions. Nobody wants to see you're overboard goading anymore.
Although Adamson scored a good try which was great backing up from the lad, i don't wish to take anything away from a great victory, but from the 4 games so far, he's the player i've seen least of. I have watched him very close to which with ball in hand he's been almost none existant. Even his tackling tecnique is flawed, he grapples the man standing losing collision instead of taking the man down then grapple, i'll have people complaining now about tackle counts and stats but the 47 he made in the saints game was 2nd 3rd man in, so the 47 tackles made is questionable. IMO second rows should be robust defenders with a great go forward drive with fends and an offload, I don't see this with Adamson. And i don't hate the lad, he's just not my cuppa tea from what i've seen. I'm not having a go it's just an observation.

| according to the stats which must be wrong Adamson is our second highest tackler on 176 6 behiind Wild, but DI as you say all of Adamson's are 2nd or 3rd man in, i was under the impression that the tackle went to the first man in, but i bow to your better knowledge.

Not having a go do me a favour thats all you ever do.
If it was not Adamson it would be someone else.
The fact that you give nothing to the club to aid us to get better players discounts you from any views in my mind.

I appreciate Adamson may not be your "cuppa tea" and I appreciate that, I can say the same about others but that's not to say I don't see the good they do or the "unseen work" that goe's on as mentioned by Adamson in the programme. I agree, the tackle count should go primarily to the 1st man in, but i'm afraid nowadays it doesn't it's counted as the 1st 3 men in.
Prestwich Red.
Honestly i'm not having a go. So what do you think Adamson brings to the table as a superleague 2nd rower. If i was coaching i'd want more than a defensive stint at this level. Obviously PV must see something for picking him and because we're winning nobody takes notice, but i can see flaws in his game where he's let in 3-4 soft tries through lack of concentration or he fails to read a game. These are just a few off the top of my head.
1.Rangi Chase cross kick for richard owen to pounce onto for 4 points. Lazy Defence
2.Jon Wilkin hit the ball at pace to score. wrong footing Adamson.
3.Kaufusi burst. smashing over Adamson on tryline
Lyrad Red.
I watch him week in week out. Elaborate on unseen work?

| Looking at the stats and comparing Adamson to several 2nd rows it tells a story. Basically he's in their just to tackle. Oh well if that what PV wants and it's working why change it.

Stats dont lie.
Yes he is in there to tackle and do a job which he does well.
4 yrs of stagnation under SMC have certainly damaged his game, and if you remember when he first came in the team (if you actually attended the games then)he was touted as the next big thing.
I hope under the guidance of PV he will rediscover the attacking game we know he has.
Until then get off his and the other players backs.

I think with good coaching he can be a steady player, but when confidence is low he can be a massive weak link a times.
