I was planning to pop down to pick up mine tomorrow but I'll wait ( it's the 1st replica top since 1996 I've really liked ) , and I'm sure they'll do everything in their power to ensure shirts bought as Xmas pressies are avialable.

Mail order companies cannot deliver before Xmas as the weather and Xmas rush have disrupted deliveries, heating oil deliveries may not arrive, and people have spent nights in cars as the motorways were shut as well as airports have been closed.

Let's put it simply.... all over the country (you know that place called Britain), deliveries of all goods (those lorries and vans you spot) are delayed (like, late).

As for your other 110 suggestion, the small staff will be pushed to deliver the shirts, tickets and similar over the next month with out extra work. Extra staff could be taken on BUT are YOU willing to pay those wages?

so because its too much hard work then so we dont want to do it ??? sums up some of the people working there at present then, if its going to make money for the club they could find some way of getting round the problem eg temp staff, offering free tickets for helping out etc etc

i know the time it would take to print names and numbers on shirts roughly would take 2 min tops, and yes i do know about these things because a company i used to work for did printing on pretty much anything you wanted n its not that hard !!!

its all down to organization and thats what were seriously lacking at present.

To blame a company for being let down on delivery is ridiculous. I have had the same issue with the company I work for this week. We've got a seasonal item for sale that's gone really well so have ordered more - as you do. I placed this order on the the 3rd December & it's still not arrived despite being told it would be here for Monday. I have customers waiting for this product, but due to lack of supply I cannot meet demand. Now, is this my fault? I would say no. I'm on to the supplier giving them a roasting daily and updating my customers on progress. What I would say is that in a situation like this communication is critical. Let your customers know what's happening. The club are in a very different situation to me, my customers may buy an alternative product from somewhere else, it's very unlikely that a Salford fan will go and by a Wigan, Saints or Warrington shirt instead. However, the same prinicpals should apply.

A way of getting your away sales up would be to have designed a yellow and green away strip.

The flight from china with the shirts on has been delayed by a couple of days . its down to that white stuff falling from the sky over there . and its not pigeon poo.

Or at least pop in, advise them to add a badge to the t-shirt and when they say 'no thanks' you can come here and tell everyone how close-minded they are?

Just a thought, anybody who wants a shirt with 110 Willows on the back, just ask when you go to pick it up and the staff will do it for you, its called bespoke service and it is so much better than this off the peg stuff, just a thought.

Been into the shop this afternoon, shirts won't be in till after christmas. Picked up the 'Willows Road' t shirt, at £9 quid it's well worth having, also picked up a nice Reds training top, discounted from £25 quid to a tenner!

Staff were very apologetic about the shirts and quite clearly delivery is out of their control. I was impressed when they checked my details in the order book...............there are HUNDREDS on order. If you haven't ordered yours yet, you'd better get a move on, I confidently predict they will SELL OUT quickly.

Even with all that planning and the best will in the world the gods are against us, but it could be worse you could be stuck at the most popular tourist destination this year, Heathrow looking at the number of people camping out there, is it the new Mecca. The weather, the club and certainly the shop are NOT to blame! KooGa is responsible for the delay, think this might be the last dealings the club has with them, well I'd hope so anyway.

was actually told they had been posting them out, but I am still waiting for my MUST members pack sent out first week in December, I think Wardley is poor for post, got a letter yesterday posted first class from Salford Civic centre early in December, a distance of half a mile and it took 8 days, so at that rate I have missed the Christmas post for London by 8 years.

Club are only sending out the full membership / season ticket passes before xmas

the additional ' Family member / pay as you go ' passes they will post out January in time for the start of he season .

It's a shame about the delay but as it promises to be one the best shirts they have done for I'm prepared to wait .

having been there to collect an envelope i can concur, nowhere to park, and it only opens in the morning, meaning queuing for ages on a Saturday morning having walked miles from the car because there is no public transport near there either.

I know the shop's open tomorrow( 29-12-10 ). Does anyone know if the new shirts have arrived yet? if not what time will the shop be open? cheers
